Project Location and Geology
Talon is advancing the Tamarack Project through Minnesota’s environmental review and permitting process. This process is designed to evaluate the proposed project, assess potential impacts, gather public input, and inform permitting decisions before construction or mining can begin.

Proposed Mine Plan
As proposed, Tamarack would be developed as an underground mining project. Underground mining is designed to access mineralization below the surface while limiting the surface footprint compared with open-pit mining. The project remains subject to environmental review, permitting, engineering, and future development decisions.
Processing Plan
Talon is advancing the Tamarack Project with processing currently planned at the proposed Battery Minerals Processing Facility in Mercer County, North Dakota. At the same time, Talon is evaluating the feasibility of transporting Tamarack ore to the Humboldt Mill in Marquette County, Michigan. This work considers both processing pathways as Talon evaluates the technical, environmental, logistical, economic, and permitting factors that will inform the project’s final processing strategy.
Exploration and Growth
Tamarack provides Talon with development and exploration upside in Minnesota. Ongoing work focuses on advancing the project through environmental review, ongoing technical studies, and evaluation of additional mineral potential within the broader Tamarack system.
