Mr. Morel is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Lundin Mining, joining in 2022. He oversees Lundin Mining’s global operations and project development, bringing more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Lundin Mining, Mr. Morel served as General Manager of Mine Operations at BHP’s Escondida mine in Chile. He also held senior roles at Antofagasta Minerals, including Executive Director of the company’s international office, Head of Operations at Los Pelambres, General Manager of El Tesoro, and Chief of Technical Services. Earlier in his career, Mr. Morel spent seven years at CODELCO in strategic and technical leadership positions.

Darby Stacey, P.E., is the Chief Executive Officer of Talon Metals following the acquisition of Eagle Mine. He previously served as Eagle Mine’s Managing Director (since 2020) under Lundin Mining, leading safe, predictable performance, extending mine life beyond the then-planned 2025 closure, and overseeing the Eagle East ramp-up.

With more than 20 years in the mining industry, Darby brings leadership experience across design, project execution, and operations, supported by a technical background in mineral processing and water treatment. He was a key contributor to the original design and ramp-up of Humboldt Mill, helping the facility exceed its original design and operate above nameplate capacity.

Before returning to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula with his family, Darby served as Process Manager at the Idaho Cobalt Project and previously led process engineering and pre-feasibility work at Resolution Copper with Rio Tinto. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Metallurgical Engineering from Montana Tech and is a Registered Professional Engineer (Mining Engineering) in Arizona.

Mr. Lundin is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lundin Mining and a member of the Board of Directors. Since becoming President in 2022 and CEO in December 2023, he has led a significant portfolio transformation, including the acquisitions of the Caserones Mine and Filo Corp., the latter resulting in the formation of Vicuña Corp. and a sharpened strategic focus on copper through the divestiture of the company’s European assets. Previously, Mr. Lundin served as President and CEO of Bluestone Resources. Prior to Bluestone, he played a key role in the development of Lundin Gold’s Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador, where he served as Project Superintendent. Earlier in his career, he worked as an economic analyst with Lundin Energy and held field roles on exploration projects across Canada, Russia, Ireland, and Portugal.

Mr. Kinross was formerly the President of CIC Energy Corp. which was sold to Jindal Steel & Power in September 2012. He is also the former President and CEO of Tau Capital Corp, a private investment and advisory services company. From 1998 to 2004 Mr. Kinross was involved in private equity and investment banking. Prior to 1998, Mr. Kinross was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, South Africa. Mr. Kinross, a Chartered Accountant, received a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (With Distinction), as well as a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree (With Distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Mr. Deisley was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of NOVAGOLD Resources Inc., responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal governance and corporate affairs from November 2012 to December 2018. Mr. Deisley has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry in the Americas, with an extensive track record in project permitting, corporate social responsibility, mergers and acquisitions and corporate development. In addition, Mr. Deisley is regarded as a human rights expert relative to resource projects and local populations. Mr. Deisley received his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University.

Ms. McMillan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and Chief Financial Officer of Versamet Royalties Corporation. She brings more than 20 years of financial experience, including senior finance roles with mid-tier gold producers and within the royalty industry. Ms. McMillan also serves on the Board of Directors of Lundin Mining Corporation, where she chairs the Audit Committee. Earlier in her career, Ms. McMillan spent eight years with PwC in London and Vancouver, including as a Senior Manager in the assurance practice. She holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from the University of Nottingham in England and has completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program. She is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors.

For more than 20 years, Mr. Kaplan has been President of Runnymede Development Corporation Limited, a diversified real estate company active in the Greater Toronto Area. Under Mr. Kaplan’s leadership, Runnymede has developed and built numerous landmark communities, comprising more than 10,000 homes, as well as several million square feet of retail and industrial space. In particular, the Ajax, Ontario community of 1100 homes, known as “Lakeside”, was awarded the Canadian Home Builders’ Association Community of the Year in 2001. In addition, Mr. Kaplan is a Director of Metropia and Chairman of Trademark Communities. Mr. Kaplan has studied at Upper Canada College in Toronto, McGill University in Montreal, and the University of Paris-Sorbonne.

Mr. Singer is an attorney and business consultant who has served as a Senior Partner of Macro Consultants LLC (acquired by Savills, NA), which provides strategic planning and project management services to multinational companies, many of them publicly held. He oversaw both the legal and finance departments. He began his career at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and Yigal Arnon & Co., following which he managed his own general practice, with a particular focus on corporate, real estate and the legal needs of several multinational corporations. Mr. Singer has been admitted to practice law in both New York and Israel. He received his J.D. from Cardozo School of Law (Magna Cum Laude).

Mr. Wheatley has for the past 35 years, been a senior executive and independent director of a number of Canadian public mining companies operating globally in precious, base and industrial metals. Mr. Wheatley was an independent director of Endeavour Mining, Teranga Gold Corporation and Talison Lithium Limited and has served as the CEO of Yellowhead Mining Inc. and Karnalyte Resources Inc. Mr. Wheatley has extensive domestic and international experience with development and operating gold, copper, lithium and potash companies, including mergers and acquisitions, project financing, project development, and environmental permitting in accordance with all international best practice, environmental and corporate social responsibility standards.

Vince Conte is Chief Financial Officer of Talon Metals. Prior to joining Talon, he served as Vice President, Corporate Development and Financial Evaluation at Tau Capital, a private investment and advisory firm, where he was responsible for financial modeling and project valuation.

Before Tau Capital, Vince was a Senior Manager with Deloitte LLP in Toronto in the Financial Advisory Group, advising mining companies and investors on valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and financial due diligence. While at Deloitte, he also provided audit, accounting, internal controls, and consulting services.

Vince holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo and holds the CPA, CA, CFA, and CBV designations.

Brian Goldner is Chief Exploration Officer for Talon Metals, bringing 14 years of exploration experience, including prior roles with Rio Tinto Exploration. Over his career, he has focused on nickel and iron exploration across North America, with much of his work centered on advancing the Tamarack Project. Brian brings strong capability across both the technical and operational dimensions of exploration and has led multiple multi-rig drill programs over the course of his work with Rio Tinto and Talon Metals.

Brian holds degrees in Geology and Geography from Gustavus Adolphus College and completed a master’s thesis on the Tamarack Intrusion at the University of Minnesota Duluth, providing him with deep, site-specific expertise in Tamarack geology and geophysics.

Jessica Sandstrom is Vice President, Health, Safety & Human Resources for Talon Metals and a senior HR and safety leader with 15+ years of experience in mining and global organizations. Most recently, Jessica served as Health, Safety & Human Resources Manager at Eagle Mine, leading all people and safety functions at an operating underground mine. In this role, she oversaw a two-year internalization of major contractors to reduce workforce and operational risk and implemented Fatal Risk Management to strengthen critical controls.

Previously, Jessica held global HR leadership roles with Lundin Mining, supporting HR systems and workforce strategy across multiple jurisdictions. She is recognized for embedding values into organizational systems, strengthening leadership capability, and managing workforce risk in complex operating environments.

She holds a B.S. in Human Resources Management & Services and is a Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect Certified, and a Certified Internal Investigator.

Matt Johnson is Vice President, Corporate Affairs for Talon Metals. He was part of the team that developed Eagle Mine, an award-winning greenfield nickel mine in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula recognized internationally for modern mining practices, including environmental protection, community capacity building, transparency, and employee engagement.

A proactive, highly collaborative executive, Matt builds trusted relationships with teams and local communities to foster collective problem-solving and long-term shared success. He previously worked for the U.S. Congress and served under Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm on natural resource issues.

Matt holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biology and Public Administration from Northern Michigan University, completed executive programs led by Duke and Georgetown, and holds the ESG Competent Boards Certificate and GCB.D designation. He serves on Michigan Tech’s Board of Trustees.

Rob Beranek

Rob Beranek is Vice President, Projects & Environmental for Talon Metals. He has worked in mining since 2009, with experience in environmental compliance, permitting, regulatory strategy, and the delivery of complex projects. Most recently, he served as Environmental and Water Services Manager at Eagle Mine, where he led environmental compliance, permitting, and water treatment for the mine and mill.

Prior to Eagle Mine, Rob held senior roles at Cleveland-Cliffs, including Director of Environmental Permitting and Regulatory Affairs, where he led permitting strategy across mining, steelmaking, and steel finishing operations in the United States. His background includes multi-media permitting and renewals, state and federal regulatory engagement, oversight of legacy sites, and support of business growth evaluations and development-stage projects.

Rob holds an M.S. in Environmental Studies and a B.S. in Applied Physics.
